Abstract: A facile synthesis of imidazo[1,2-α]pyridines has been achieved by copper(II) and iron(III) co-catalyzed C–N bond formation. This reaction involves an intermolecular oxidative diamination of alkynes with high chemoselectivity and regioselectivity.
