Abstract: This paper examines the technopreneurial environment in Singapore and the viability of promoting technology as a national competitive advantage. Our findings indicate that whilst the environment is progressively more conducive, a paradigm shift in people's mindset is necessary for Singapore to replicate the success of Silicon Valley.
