Abstract: Our research explores the reasons behind declining birth-rate in Singapore and evaluates the effectiveness of government attempts at tackling the problem. References were made to foreign countries facing similar problems. The focus is tilted towards prospective parents between ages of 20-35, to assess the future impact of these new measures.
