Differences in corporate governance structure and firms performance between SR firms and non-SR firms

Abstract

This study investigates the differences between SR and non-SR firms in terms of financial performance and corporate governance. We hypothesize that SR firms have better financial performance and stronger corporate governance structures than non-SR firms. Generally, SR firms have significantly superior financial performance but not significantly stronger corporate governance structures.
