Abstract: Spam is a complex and growing international problem. This research study seeks to analyze the effectiveness of the spam legislation proposed by the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore by benchmarking against legislative frameworks in other countries on the more prominent features. It also focuses on the public sentiments regarding certain aspects of the proposed legislation.
